Cape Coral Real Estate: How

Cape Coral, Florida is home to some of the best fishing on earth and has often been called a “boater’s paradise.”  Owning a piece of Cape Coral real estate allows you to fish right off your own personal canal.  Alternatively, boaters may reel in their catch right from the Gulf of Mexica. Another choice is the fishing pier at the public Yacht Basin & Club.  No matter what the setting preference is, Cape Coral provides many opportunities for fishermen (and women) to have the fishing experience they desire.

So How is Late Summer Fishing in Cape Coral?

Cape Coral offers the opportunity for both freshwater and saltwater fishing.  Fishing in the late summer in Cape Coral is one of the best times because the water is warm and the fish population is high.  There are certain permits and regulations that you'll need to obtain and adhere to when fishing in Florida, but the permits are inexpensive and easily purchased from numerous locations, including most bait and tackle shops.

For freshwater fishing, a variety of fish species are in plenty during the months of July, August, and September.  Some include bass, catfish, Redear, and Sunshines. Cape Coral real estate is also a prime area for saltwater fishing. The species available for catch include Grouper, Amberjack, Triggerfish, and even scallops and crabs.

Just the other day I visited the Yacht Club fishing pier to catch the sunset and was amazed to see a large number of families happily fishing the pier. They were reeling them in at a steady pace and the catch of the night even included a couple of crabs and a small shark.

What are the Late Summer Fishing Regulations in Cape Coral?

Regulations vary depending on freshwater versus saltwater and the variety of fish to be caught. There are limits on size and quantity with different species. These regulations can be a bit confusing for visitors, which makes owning a piece of Cape Coral real estate such an asset for those wishing to frequently fish the area. By living here you'll soon become familiar with the rules and regulations, decreasing the chances of inadvertently doing something illegal regarding your catch.

In addition to familiarity with the laws, owning Cape Coral real estate makes it exceedingly easy to throw a line in whenever the fancy strikes, and you can't beat the convenience of casting a line from your back door. Really, who wants to drive an hour with smelly fish in the back of their car?

Cape Coral Real Estate is the Fisherman's Dream

Owning a home in Cape Coral really is a wonderful way to enjoy life to its fullest, especially if enjoying life means spending as much time as possible with a fishing pole in hand.  There are very few other places on earth that provide such a unique opportunity; from beauty to ideal weather to variety of species of fish. Late summer fishing in Cape Coral is perhaps the best time to enjoy this recreational activity and owning Cape Coral real estate is the easiest way to make sure the time available is thoroughly taken advantage of.
